Hailing from the Northern New Jersey, the Mojave Desert in California took me by sand storm. Miles of uninhabited land, acres of brush, and seemingly endless hills across the horizon. Where I’m from, concrete coats the earth and skyscrapers block the sun. Architecture. Beautiful architecture. But with our innovation comes destruction.
As we explore the global impact of our carbon footprint, consider what life could have been if we were more one with the earth. The land is our home. This series explores the wonderful world of bringing the inside outside.
I’ve had this admiration for people who live off the grid. Total freedom. They’ve made peace with their purpose and are able to share themselves with the environment. From tiny homes to sustainable furniture, I am enamored with the concept of coexistence beyond the bedroom.
